Running injuries are devastating and can leave you out of a race you have trained months for.
As a doctor of physical therapy and long-time runner of 20 years, I have taken all of my knowledge and created a course to help any one successfully run a half marathon or full marathon.

Learn more about Dr. Brenna and why she created this course!
My name is Dr. Brenna Schmitt. I am a physical therapist and marathoner and have been running for 20 years! I gained a lot of my knowledge from taking a marathon training course that was taught by an elite running coach with a master's in exercise physiology. I learned expert information on training principles, recovery, and fueling.
When I became a physical therapist I took courses specifically for runners because I love running and wanted to help other runners! These focused on running injury prevention, treating running injuries, running gait mechanics, shoes, strength, and flexibility.
As a PT specializing in running injuries I started to notice that so many injuries could have been prevented by having a better training program, being educated on recovery and fueling, and completing a good strengthening and stretching routine.
So, I decided to put all my knowledge in one convenient place to help runners successful train for half marathons and marathons while reducing the risk of injury!
"Brenna is an amazing PT. I'm a first time runner and struggled greatly with shinsplints/tight calves at the beginning of my running journey in July. My runs would have me limping from pain in my lower legs. After a few months of working with her on gait training and muscle tightness/stretching, we fixed a few things and I was able to complete my first half marathon in October! Thank you Brenna!"
